SUPASAWA is a 'super-sour' non-alcoholic mixer providing that much needed tart and sour bite to cocktails. A blend of 5 food grade acids it delivers a consistent, cost effective, sustainable alternative to citrus fruit.
SUPASAWA required access to influential mixologists but also scale via national accounts. We executed a 3 phase approach, firstly unlocking bartender focused retail, followed by building awareness with influential mixologists, before finally converting this foundational momentum to high volume sales via Canada's largest national account group, 'Recipe Unlimited'.

Unlocking influential lighthouse accounts
Phase 1: unlocking access to influential lighthouse retail accounts were bartenders shop.
This provided both the authentic sense of 'discovery' as well as providing opportunities to connect with and educate bartenders via our trusted retailer network.
Phase 2: mixologist engagement and endorsement.
In order to build authenticity and credibility we unlocked bartender endorsement via our network of influential and industry respected mixologists across Canada.
This established SUPASAWA as a 'must have' item for bartenders and in return this opened a network of tastemaker bars across the nation regularly utilizing and continuously endorsing the product.
Phase 3: Maximizing volume
Next we focused on conversion of awareness and adoption by influential bartenders, into large scale volume opportunities.
We achieved this by securing Canada's largest bar/restaurant group 'Recipe Unlimited'. More specifically we worked in partnership with the groups beverage director to incorporate SUPASAWA into their new national signature draft cocktail 'Route 78' available at all 88 locations of Kelsey's casual dining restaurants.
